Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 17 October 2026

1. The short version

  • Every project is quoted in writing and paid in stages. You see each stage before the next one is paid.
  • Money paid for a stage that has started or been delivered is not refunded, because that work has been done for you.
  • Approving a stage (a reply such as "approved", "looks good" or "go ahead" by email, WhatsApp or the portal) completes it.
  • Monthly plans can be cancelled any time. Ask within 7 days of a monthly payment and you can get back the part of that month you haven't used; after 7 days that month isn't refunded.
  • If we fail to deliver what the quote promised and can't fix it, you get your money back for that stage.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. Your written quote can add to it; where they differ, the quote wins.

2. How payment works

A project is agreed in a written quote (by email, WhatsApp or the Client Portal) that lists what is included, the stages and the price. Unless the quote says otherwise, payment is in these stages:

  1. Booking payment, 50% before work starts. It reserves our time and pays for planning, the first design and setup.
  2. Design approval, 30% when you approve the design or first working version.
  3. Launch, 20% before the site or agent goes live, or before files and access are handed over.

Small jobs (under ₹10,000) and one-off setups are paid 100% before work starts. Prices can be shown in your currency; the amount on the invoice is what you pay.

3. When a refund is and isn't possible

  • You cancel before we start work (no planning call, design or setup done yet): full refund of the booking payment, minus payment-provider fees and any third-party costs already paid for you.
  • You cancel after work has started: no refund of payments for stages that have started or been delivered. For a website, you keep the work made up to that point once those stages are paid. We don't ask for payment for stages that haven't started.
  • After you approve a stage: that stage is final and not refundable. Later changes to approved work are new work, quoted separately.
  • After launch or handover: no refunds. Problems are fixed under the free fix period (section 5).
  • Third-party costs are never refundable by us once bought: domains, hosting you asked us to buy, paid themes, plugins, stock media, phone numbers, WhatsApp and AI usage, and any fee another company charges.
  • Custom AI agents and automations: setup fees are earned when the agent or workflow is configured and shown working in a test, even if you later decide not to use it.

4. Your part, and delays

  • You send content (text, photos, logins, approvals) within the times in the quote. Our dates move by the length of any delay on your side.
  • If we hear nothing from you for 30 days while waiting on your content or feedback, the project is paused. After 60 days of silence it is treated as cancelled by you, and section 3 applies.
  • If you don't reply to a delivered stage within 14 days, or start using it (publishing, sharing, sending it to customers), the stage counts as approved.
  • Each stage includes the rounds of changes stated in the quote (two rounds if it doesn't say). More changes, or new features, are quoted separately.

5. If something is wrong with our work

For 30 days after launch we fix, free of charge, anything that doesn't work as the quote described. If we fail to deliver what the quote promised and can't put it right within 15 working days of your written notice, we refund what you paid for that stage. A refund for this reason is the full remedy for that stage. Changes of mind, new ideas or a different taste after approval are not defects.

6. Monthly plans

  • Care plans and agent maintenance are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled.
  • Cancel any time by email or WhatsApp. The plan and the service it keeps running stop at the end of the month already paid (or straight away if you take a refund).
  • 7-day refund window: if you cancel within 7 days of a monthly payment, we refund that month's fee minus the value already used: the days the service was running (fee ÷ 30 × days), any changes or support we did that month, and any AI, call or message usage it consumed. If that is more than the fee, there is no refund. We show you the calculation. After 7 days, that month isn't refunded.
  • Prepaid AI usage (call minutes, messages) that has been used isn't refunded. Unused prepaid usage is refunded if you close the service, minus provider fees.
  • If a monthly invoice is unpaid for 15 days after its due date we may pause the service until it's paid; it can be switched off after 30 days.

7. Discounts, credits and offers

  • Discount codes, referral credits and promotional credits only have value for paying for our own services. They are never refunded or paid out as money, also when a project is cancelled.
  • If an invoice paid partly with credits is refunded under section 3 or 5, we refund the money part, and put the credit part back on your account (if the offer has not expired).
  • The MRP shown above a price is the list price before the current price; refunds are always based on what you actually paid.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a payment with your bank or card provider; most problems are solved in a day. If a payment is reversed for work that was delivered or approved, we may pause the service and recover the amount and our costs of the dispute.

9. How to cancel or ask for a refund

Email talkto@venturerize.com (subject "Cancel" or "Refund") or message +91 63646 09168 on WhatsApp, with your name and project. We acknowledge within 48 hours and give a decision within 15 days. Approved refunds are paid within 14 days to the original payment method (or the bank account you paid from).

If you disagree with our decision, write to our Grievance Officer (the Director and Chief Technology Officer of Venturerize (Grievance Officer and data protection contact), talkto@venturerize.com). We answer within one month. Disputes then follow section 15 of the Terms. Nothing in this policy takes away rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
